Pre-orders
Pieces marked pre-order are sold before their production is confirmed. We make your piece as pictured, or refund you in full. We’ll email you a ship date once production is confirmed. A refund goes back to the card you paid with.
Who is selling
cœurbon is a clothing label from British Columbia, Canada. It is run by the small business that also runs cashout.community, which takes your payment, so your card statement reads CASHOUT* COEURBON. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that business, and “you” means the person placing an order.
Placing an order
By placing an order you agree to these terms. Your order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when your payment is confirmed and we send you a receipt by email.
We may cancel an order, and refund it in full, if we can’t fill it (for example, a piece can’t be made) or if a price was shown in error. If that happens we’ll tell you.
Prices and currency
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are shown before you pay. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. We may change prices at any time; a change doesn’t affect an order you have already placed.
Taxes
Any sales tax that applies is worked out at checkout from where your order is going, and shown before you pay.
Payment
Payment is taken by Stripe when you check out. We never see or store your card details. If your payment doesn’t go through, we don’t make your order.
Made to order
Every piece is made after you order it, by our manufacturing partner. Small differences from piece to piece, in stitching, in where a design sits or in colour, are a normal part of clothing made this way. A misprint, damage or a piece that isn’t what you ordered is a fault, and Returns and exchanges says what we do about it.
Shipping, delivery and risk
We ship to Canada and the United States. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and are shown before you pay; see Shipping.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave us. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, write to us and we will make it right.
Returns and exchanges
You can return an unworn piece with its labels intact within 30 days of delivery, and exchange a size within the same period. The full policy, including who pays for what, is on Returns and exchanges, and is part of these terms.
Product information
Colours vary from screen to screen. Measurements are the maker’s own, taken with the garment laid flat, and can vary by up to 2 inches (5 cm). Weights and compositions are the maker’s specification. Until we photograph finished pieces, product pictures are renderings of each design, and the people wearing them are generated. Pre-orders are made as pictured, or refunded in full.
Our artwork
The cœurbon name, the melting heart, our artwork and our photographs belong to cœurbon or the people who made them. The cashkid creature is cashout.community’s mark, used in our collaboration. Please don’t copy or reuse any of them without asking.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that can’t be limited by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be decided by the courts of British Columbia, unless consumer protection law where you live says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms in force on the day you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
