What the shop collects, who handles it, why, and for how long.

What this covers

This explains the personal information cœurbon collects and what we do with it. cœurbon runs on the same systems as cashout.community (sign-in, hosting, email), so its privacy policy applies here too: cashout.community/legal/privacy.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, delivery address and phone number, and what you ordered. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us; we receive the result of the payment and its amount.

When you write to us: your email address, your name and order number if you give them, and your message.

If you sign in: signing in is optional and uses Google. The account is shared with cashout.community, which runs on the same systems. We use it to show you your orders.

Your bag: it is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device. It isn’t sent to us until you check out.

Why we use it

  • To take your payment, and to check it for fraud.
  • To make your order and ship it to you.
  • To email your receipt and shipping updates, and to answer your messages.
  • To keep the records the law requires us to keep.

Who handles it

  • Stripe takes your payment and checks it for fraud.
  • Our manufacturing partner receives your name, delivery address, phone number and what you ordered, so it can make your order and ship it to you.
  • Resend sends the emails we send you.
  • Supabase stores orders and messages.
  • Vercel hosts the site.

We don’t sell your information, and the shop doesn’t share it with advertisers.

Where it goes

Some of these providers handle information outside Canada, including in the United States and where our manufacturing partner works. They may be subject to the laws of those places.

How long we keep it

Orders, including the delivery address, are kept for seven years, because tax law requires us to keep records.

Messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to help you and to keep a record of what we told you. Your bag stays in your browser until you clear it or check out.

Cookies

Stripe’s checkout page sets its own cookies to take payment and prevent fraud. The analytics this site uses are described in cashout.community’s main privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we aren’t required to keep it (we must keep order records for seven years). You can also withdraw any consent you have given us.

To do any of this, email support@cashout.community from the address you ordered with. We may need to check it’s really you before we act.

Changes and contact

If we change this page we’ll update the date at the top. Questions? Email support@cashout.community or use the contact form.
